(Performance-based bonuses)

Timing of bonus payments

For Physical Therapists (In Person and Virtual)

Bonuses will be paid in the middle of the month following the bonus period.  In general, bonuses will be paid separately from your regular paycheck in an “off cycle” paycheck that you will receive on a non-regular pay day.  If there is a delay in bonus payments or the calculation of bonuses, Origin will do its best to inform you in a timely manner as soon as the delay has been identified.  Origin does not guarantee payment of bonuses on any specific day of the month. If you have extenuating circumstances around the payment of your bonus (i.e., a delay in bonus payment will cause you a hardship), please reach out to your Clinical Director or the People Team, and we will work together to find a solution.

For Clinic Coordinators & Senior Clinic Coordinators

Bonuses are paid with your regular paycheck.  Bonus payments are calculated for each week of the pay period. If there is a delay in bonus payments or the calculation of bonuses, Origin will do its best to inform you in a timely manner as soon as the delay has been identified.  ****If we are unable to process your bonus payment for both weeks of the pay period, you will be paid for the missing week of bonus payment in an “off cycle” paycheck that you will receive on a non-regular pay day.

Eligibility

New Employees

You must be employed by Origin and eligible to receive a bonus for the entire bonus period to receive a bonus payment.  If your employment starts after the first working day of the bonus period, you will be eligible to receive a bonus for the next bonus period in which you work the full period.

During Performance Improvement Periods

If you are on an active Performance Improvement Plan, you are ineligible to receive a bonus during the duration of the Improvement Plan until its conclusion.  You become re-eligible for bonus calculations on the first of the bonus period following the successful completion of the plan.

Upon Exit

To receive a bonus payment post-employment with Origin, you must have provided Origin with at least 45 days notice (per your employment addendum) of the date you intended to terminate your employment. This policy aims to support a smooth transition for patients, the team and you.
